In order to facilitate direct person to person collaboration, Talari’s team-centric culture primarily requires engineers to work from our Morrisville NC office but occasional work from home days are permitted.

  • Writing software under the direction of more senior engineering staff with regular feedback from sr. engineers.
  • Responsible for guidance of more Jr. engineers.
  • Sharing knowledge and helping other team members within the department


  • Embedded OS experience is a must
  • Linux experience is a must
  • Development of distributed, multi-threaded applications on Linux platforms
  • Open source libraries/packages
  • Shell or Perl scripting knowledge
  • 5-8 years as a contributor on a software development team
  • Language Diversity (C, SQL, PHP, Java, JavaScript preferred)
  • Experience with makefiles and source code control
  • Embedded Tool Set Experience
  • Strong Networking background

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, or related fields
