Our Company

Talari Networks is redefining WAN reliability and application performance quality. By aggregating multiple diverse networks into a virtual WAN and continuously adapting traffic based on the availability and real-time quality of the network paths, Talari ensures applications that rely on a WAN are not affected by underlying network issues. Talari’s patented technology delivers significant cost savings over single provider networks while also increasing reliability and quality. Talari has received numerous industry awards and accolades including being named a Gartner Cool Vendor, Best of Interop–Performance Optimization and Techworld Awards–2012 Networking Application Product of the Year.

Talari Networks was founded in 2007 and launched its initial beta product in early 2008. Since then, the company's patented products have been deployed in thousands of locations around the world.

Talari Networks Wins Techworld Awards 2012 "Networking Application Product of the Year"

San Jose, Calif. — September 18, 2012 — Talari Networks, Inc., a leading innovator in WAN reliability and performance quality network appliances, has won IDG's Techworld Awards 2012 in the "Networking Application Product of the Year" category. The coveted Techworld Awards are recognized as one of the biggest and most established awards in the UK Enterprise IT sector.

The Techworld Awards Judging Committee, comprised of Techworld's editors and leading industry analysts and User Group chairmen, has acknowledged Talari's Mercury WAN appliances as the most innovative networking application. The Techworld Awards' winners were announced on Sept. 13 at the awards ceremony held in London.

At the heart of Talari's Mercury WAN appliances is its patented APN (Adaptive Private Networking) software, which aggregates multiple links — existing private WANs such as MPLS, as well as any kind of Internet WAN links, such as DSL, cable, fiber, Metro Ethernet, etc.— into dynamic pathways to achieve greater reliability and resiliency with broadband and other commodity networks. The APN performs sub-second analysis and builds a real-time map of the quality of those links to determine where to send each packet, then applies a QoS engine to prioritize which applications use the best links at any given time, essentially creating a virtual WAN (a network of networks). The end result is a highly resilient WAN that seamlessly adapts to changing conditions in the underlying network and ensures that applications operate without disruption and at a high level of quality.

“The network has traditionally been the poor relation of IT infrastructure but cloud, real-time apps and mobile computing trends like BYOD means network performance is at a premium. Talari Networks is a worthy winner of the Techworld 'Networking Application Product of the Year' Award for its Mercury Appliances, which delivers bandwidth and performance reliability at compelling prices,” said Mike Simons, Editor of Techworld.
