Peplink versus Talari in a Real Network
I watch a lot of product demos from companies that have comparable solutions to Talari. In most cases I notice that their demo networks are typically all identical WAN links with the same characteristics. During their demonstration they show how to fail over from complete outages, but they don’t demonstrate what happens when jitter and packet loss are injected into the links, how traffic is handled when links have varied latency or how they handle large amounts of small packets (i.e. VoIP type traffic.)
That got me thinking and I decided to do a side by side test of Talari versus Peplink in a more realistic network environment to see how they perform.
