Responsibilities

  • Responsible for outbound product marketing of Talari’s SD-WAN hardware and virtual appliances, controller software, and analytics management platform
  • Define the relevant buyer and influencer personas, use cases and vertical market scenarios that will help drive field and partner revenue opportunities
  • Create sales enablement materials for internal field force and channel partners that result in improved sales effectiveness and shortened sales cycles
  • Manage sales/channel go-to-market product readiness for new product releases and alternative delivery models (XaaS)
  • Demo at webinars, trade shows, partner meetings to gather feedback, obtain product strategy ideas and supplement sales campaigns to reinforce product features and technology direction
  • Continuous assessment of marketplace, competitive landscape and customer needs to ensure best fit solutions for Talari products
  • Establish PMM function as the center of competency for market knowledge, sizing and customer profiles in core virtual infrastructure performance sector.
  • Provide product positioning materials for sales readiness and partner enablement
  • Liaise with sales engineers to track customer requirements and ensure successful proof-of-concept engagements
  • Work with cross-function teams to contribute content for websites, collateral, PR, presentations, and sales and partner training

Experience

  • 5-7 years product marketing, product management and/or technical marketing experience with a solid understanding of the cloud, virtualization and networking markets required; start-up DNA preferred
  • Command of technical marketing fundamentals, accomplished verbal and written communication skills, and excellent presentation skills
  • Understands the needs of the IT Infrastructure, networking and/or app-cloud/virtualization decision makers (Cisco competitor ecosystem)
  • Domain expertise for the SD-WAN, WAN-Op, ADC and SDN/NFV landscape in private/hybrid cloud environments
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; polished customer-facing demo and technical presentation abilities
