Link-State Monitoring

Link-state monitoring is the process in which multiple traffic paths are constantly monitored simultaneously to assess both connectivity and traffic performance and ensure traffic is passed over the most optimal path at all times.

Link-state monitoring is the process in which multiple traffic paths are constantly monitored simultaneously to assess both connectivity and traffic performance. This monitoring takes place through the entire mapped network from one connected node to another. At each connection point the most logical path is used based on monitoring to ensure traffic is passed over the most optimal path at all times, and in many cases, packets are distributed across multiple channels in real-time.
