Network Monitoring

Network Monitoring is the use of a system that monitors the network for failing or faulty components on an ongoing basis. If the system identifies a slow or faulty component, it will notify the network administrator in an effort to avoid a complete outage.

Network Monitoring constantly checks a network for a variety of issues, such as failure of faulty components, problematic devices, and frozen servers. If an issue is identified, the Network Monitoring system will alert the network administrator or other key IT team members so the issue can be addressed as soon as possible. This form of 24-hour network monitoring is customized based on the individual business needs and is carried out via software application and tools and is a critical part of keeping servers online and healthy.
