Talari Announces Executive Leadership Changes
SAN JOSE, Calif. — March 15, 2016 — Talari, the proven technology innovator and market leader of Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN) solutions that help businesses perform brilliantly with the creation of a smart network that proactively manages capacity, quality and performance, today announced two changes in its executive leadership team. Mark Masur, who currently serves as Talari Chairman of the Board, has taken over the responsibility of Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Emerick Woods, the company’s previous CEO. In addition, John Dickey, co-founder and current Chief Technology Officer, has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer.
Mark Masur has served on the Talari board since 2010. His investment firm, Silver Creek Ventures, has been a committed investor in Talari and the concept of a better way to WAN. “The SD-WAN category has begun to explode and Talari is perfectly poised to continue to lead the market,” said Masur. “It is interesting to me that all the same driving forces are in place for the SD-WAN market that I have seen in my previously successful networking businesses. Talari has pioneered the SD-WAN market in a similar and recognizable way.”
As Talari’s co-founder and newly appointed President and Chief Operating Officer, John Dickey is the technology visionary and creator of what has become known today as the software defined WAN. His role of Chief Technology Officer has expanded under the title of President and Chief Operating Officer to include product, engineering, and support. “I am privileged to serve Talari in this new role and I am even further driven for us to continue to deliver the next generation of network solutions that are fundamentally changing how the world perceives and utilizes networks for their critical business needs,” said Dickey.
Talari has more than 200 SD-WAN customers across 41 countries. The solution offers enterprises the freedom to choose the underlying services infrastructure; physical, virtual and cloud, that meets their SD-WAN deployment needs. This freedom of choice carries forward into how an SD-WAN is acquired with the option to choose a traditional CAPEX-focused perpetual license or an OPEX-based subscription rate that reduces upfront costs and enables the enterprise to secure an SD-WAN for a low monthly rate.
