EOS + EOL

T5200, T5000, E1000 and E500 End-of-Sale

Oracle Communications is announcing an End-of-Sale (EOS) date of August 1st, 2019 for the T5200, T5000, E1000 and E500 hardware appliances. Per our End-of-Life Policy, these hardware appliances will be available for sale until the EOS date. The End of Service Life (EOSL) date for these hardware appliances will be August 31, 2022 for all customers who have either a valid warranty or hardware support contract. For any customer whose warranty or hardware support contract expires prior to December 31, 2019, a one-year extension will be available for purchase. Oracle Communications customers that are using T5200, T5000, E1000 and E500 should consider D6000 and D2000 as upgrade alternatives. This change is being made to switch to a new supply chain after the acquisition of Talari Networks by Oracle. The new D-Series platforms provide equivalent or higher performance and security levels than the T-Series and E-Series platforms being replaced.

T860 End of Life

Talari Networks has initiated the End of Life (EOL) process for the Talari Appliance T860. Starting February 2021, Talari will no longer support the T860. The replacement product for the T860 is the E500 which offers better performance while delivering new features such as WAN Optimization. For more information, please visit the E500 product page. T510 End of Life

Talari Networks has initiated the End of Life (EOL) process for the Talari Appliance T510. Starting April 2020, Talari will no longer support the T510. The replacement product for the T510 is the E100 which offers better performance and features such as WAN Optimization at a similar price. For more information, please visit the E100 product page. T3010 End of Life

Talari Networks has initiated the End of Life (EOL) process for the Talari Appliance T3010. Starting February 2021, Talari will no longer support the T3010. The replacement product for the T3010 is the E1000 which offers better performance, increases interface types and density while delivering new features such as service chaining. T510/T860/T3010 End of Sale

Talari Networks has initiated the End of Sale (EOS) process for Talari Appliance T510 T860 and T3010. These appliances are no longer available for purchase, but Talari will continue to provide full support for them. Customers who request an RMA for these platforms may receive a current E series platform as a replacement. An End of Life (EOL) plan will be announced shortly. APN 5.x and Aware 2.x End of Life

21 November 2017

Talari Networks has initiated the End of Life (EOL) process for the APN 5.x release family including APN 5.0 through APN 5.2. Starting March 2018, enhancements and bug fixes will no longer be provided for these releases and downgrading newly manufactured Talari Appliances to APN 5.x will no longer be supported. Talari recommends that current APN 5.x customers upgrade to APN 6.1 or APN 7.1.
Concurrent with the end of life of APN 5.x, the Aware 2.x releases are also initiating the EOL process. Starting March 2018, Aware 2.0 through Aware 2.2 releases will no longer receive feature enhancements or bug fixes. Customers should upgrade to the appropriate version of Aware that is required to support their deployed APN software release.

APN 4.x and Aware 1.x End of Life

1 May 2017

Talari Networks has initiated the End of Life (EOL) process for the APN 4.x release family including APN 4.0 through APN 4.4. Starting July 2017, enhancements and bug fixes will no longer be provided for these releases and downgrading newly manufactured Talari Appliances to APN 4.x will no longer be supported. Talari recommends that current APN 4.x customers upgrade to APN 5.2 P3 or APN 6.1 P3.

Concurrent with the end of life of APN 4.x, the Aware 1.x releases are also initiating the EOL process. Starting July 2017, Aware 1.0 through Aware 1.4 releases will no longer receive feature enhancements or bug fixes. Customers should upgrade to the appropriate version of Aware that is required to support their deployed APN software release.

T750/T730 End of Life

Talari Networks has initiated the End of Life (EOL) process for the Talari Appliance T730 and Talari Appliance T750. Starting August 2018, Talari will no longer support the T730 or the T750. The replacement product for the T730 is the T860L and the replacement product for the T750 is the T860H. Both of the new products offer better performance at a similar price point when compared to the products they are replacing. For more information, please visit the T860 product page. Talari Networks has initiated the End of Sale (EOS) process for Talari Appliance T750 and T730. These appliances are no longer available for purchase, but Talari will continue to provide full support for them. Starting September 2015, enhancements and bug fixes will no longer be provided for 3.0 and it will no longer be guaranteed that newly manufactured Talari Appliances can be safely downgraded to 3.0. Talari recommends that current 3.0 customers upgrade to APN 4.3. Talari recommends that current 2.5 customers upgrade to APN 3.1.
